Bedford Town Football Club can confirm the loan signing of David Hicks.
The 20-year-old follows Reece Evans in joining from Reading U21s on a loan until the end of August.
Hicks started his career coming through the Stevenage youth system, with loan spells first at Potters Bar Town and then Aveley, where he made 16 National League South appearances.
The new signing left Stevenage in August 2025 to join Reading, where he made 19 Premier League 2 appearances last season, being involved in six goals.
The Eagles have added another hungry young player to the squad, with experience at the level, and a good body of work at a youth level.
